Munnar: This picturesque hill station is known for its tea plantations, rolling hills, and stunning scenery. Munnar is home to several attractions such as the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the Eravikulam National Park.

Itinerary

On your entrance at Kochi airport or railway station or bus stand, you’ll come across our tour guide who will help you all through your journey. Then, head towards Munnar. Just round the corner, you will sightseeing Valara waterfalls, Cheyyappara waterfalls, tea plantations and so on. On reaching at the Munnar, check in to your hotel, unwind yourself and take it easy for rest of the day. In the evening take a dinner at hotel or nearby walking resaurant.Overnight stay at hotel. Meals: Dinner

Day 2 :
MUNNAR

Breakfast at the Hotel. After Breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Munnar is famous for (evergreen tea plantations, the hills of Munnar with their rolling beauty and charm can cast a magical spell on the visitors! While most of the hills are adorned with tea plantations, some are enchanted by mesmerising waterfalls, lush vegetation and lot more ) in City tour we are covering the venture outscenic sights of Flower Garden, Mattupetty dam, photo point, Echo point, Iravikulam National Park (Rajamala), Blossom Park, Anamudy hills and Kundala Dam. . in the evening, go back to hotel.Enjoy the buffet dinner at your hotel and Overnight stay.

Breakfast at the Munnar hotel and leave to Thekkady. Thekkady is located 4 km away from Kumily, a plantation town in Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. The sanctuary is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques and Nilgiri langurs.Thekkady, known as Periyar. Here, you’ll sightseeing Periyar lake, Jungle safari, Periyar Tiger Reserve and Periyar lake boating. Go back to the hotel and peaceful sleep.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of your hotel and head towards to Madurai. it takes around 4hrs. En route visit Thekkady to Madurai (with short detours) are Mattupetty Dam, Meenakshi Amman Temple, and Kodaikanal Lake. Other popular stops include Periyar Lake, Top Station, and Tea Gardens. Check in the Madurai hotel and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out of your hotel and head towards to Rameswaram. Rameshwaram is flocked with tourists all year long because of the popular Ramanathaswamy Temple and for being the house of the finest presidents of India, Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. A trip to Rameshwaram from Madurai would take approximately 4 hours in a private car. You will be covering a distance of about 170 km to reach this beautiful seaside town that’s located on the Pamban island and is connected to mainland India via the Pamban Bridge. Yet another pilgrimage destination, it is said that Lord Rama had built a bridge from Rameshwaram to Lanka to rescue his wife, Sita from Ravana. Thus, Rameshwaram also happens to be the closest point from Sri Lanka. The Mannar Island in Sri Lanka is only 40 kilometres from here. The holy town of Rameshwaram is one of the four places of the Char-Dham pilgrimages and hence a lot of tourists flock here to pray to Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu. It is said that those who complete the four Dhams will attain ‘moksha’ (freedom from the cycle of death and rebirth). Interesting Fact: Even though Rameshwaram is named after Lord Rama, the primary temple here is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Breakfast at the hotel.Post breakfast proceed for Kovalam En-route visit Kovalam city tour. you will be driven towards Kanyakumari or the ‘Land’s End Point,En route, you can visit the stunning Padmanabhapuram Palace. Built by the Maharaja of Travancore in the 15th century, this wooden palace is an architectural marvel in its own. Following this, you will be visiting the pious Sucheendram Temple, and continuing your drive to Kanyakumari; the confluence point of Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Arriving in Kanyakumari by afternoon, you can enjoy an exciting boat ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial; the spot where Swami Vivekananda used to meditate. By evening, you can catch the magical views of the setting sun from nearby this memorial, and board the vehicles back to Kovalam for your overnight stay.

Check out from your hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Check into the Houseboat at 11:30 AM. Give welcome with a Juice/ Tender Coconut drink. The houseboat starts at 12:00 Noon. Cruise through the Backwater of Alleppey. 1:30 PM the houseboat stops for Lunch, you can enjoy the traditional lunch in the houseboat which is prepared on board. There will one-hour halt for the lunch. The houseboat will restart cruising at 2:30 Pm and by 4:00 Pm, the Tea and Snacks will be provided, the cruise continues till 5:30 PM. The Houseboat will anchor of the night at 5:30 PM, as there is no permission to run the houseboat after 5:30 PM. You can relax in the houseboat or can go for a small walk through the banks of the river, do fishing using the fishing rod. By 8:00 PM the Dinner will serve, you can enjoy it in the dim light in a very calm environment. By 10:00 PM you can go to the bedroom to sleep.

After breakfast check out from your houseboat and head towards to Kochi. Later on, our tour guide will depart you at Kochi airport or railway station or bus stand and additionally, provide the necessary assistance. Return back to your hometown .
